Off to School (sort of) & Easter Weekend Festivities

Some’bunny’ will be thinking of you
on this Blessed Easter Day,
and he sends his ‘Egg’stra special hugs
and kisses to you along the way!
Happy Easter
Love, Griffin
(17 1/2 months)

Meeting the real bunny at Dallas Arboretum in March
Some'bunny' special

Meeting the Easter Bunny at Grapevine Mills--
Griffin was not too happy about having to walk away from the Easter eggs

Griffin's first day of Kindermusik
Daddy had off Good Friday so he came with us...

'What is that?'

More interested in the flag and grass then going inside, apparently
Let's hope our next class goes a little smoother- Griffin spent most of the time playing with and throwing the toys- I am pretty sure the other mommies there were a little nervous and may bring their children in padded helmets this week- one called him 'Mr. Quarterback' after he flung a ball into her child's head...

Dyeing Easter eggs

OH BOY!!! Once Griffin realized they cracked when he dropped them, he had a new game--

Time to wash up...

On Saturday, we had over The Donnell's, The Nicol's, The Pierson's and The Whisenant's for an Easter Eve Egg Hunt and Dinner

Gannon and Griffin playing with vroom vrooms

Griffin on his first Egg Hunt

He is a pretty fast learner...

He loved the sports ball eggs most of all!
(or at least Daddy encouraged him to collect those)

Griffin very cautiously getting the football egg out of the mulch
****He is never the one to get his hands dirty****

Here is another one!

Hudson and Griffin discussing what they found inside the eggs
Avery and Hudson having more fun with the mulch than egg hunting at the moment...
Gannon and Griffin enjoying jellybeans- straight off the grass

Apparently the jellybeans were a HUGE hit!
(only once a year, right?)

The Ladies
(Aurora, Holly Jo, Leslie, Jaclyn and Dena)

It is not very often you see Holly pick up a dish to wash...
Thanks for helping clean up Holly Jo!

Avery was not very happy that they had to come inside when it started to rain...
It was like corraling cattle getting the kiddos back inside

Gannon and Griffin getting ready for bathtime- both with cars in hand(s)
Splish Splash!

Easter Sunday Brunch - "What is that?"

I think the sugar was still wearing off from the night before

We hope everyone had a very Blessed Easter Weekend!
Videos of the Week-- pause the sound on the music to the left, and then hit play on the videos below- you won't want to miss out on these! This is what we do after breakfast around here!

Did you catch Griffin 'shaking it'?
