Christmas Eve 2008
Griffin and I had a wonderful evening at The Gaylord. We got to see lots of pretty lights, a GIANT gingerbread house, trains, trains and more trains and lots of Christmas trees. There was a lot to take in for a one year old, but Griffin LOVED every bit of it. We had a delicious dinner at one of the restaurants there and then drove around and looked at some Christmas lights and made it home in plenty of time to get Griffin down for bed and for Santa to arrive.
This was very daring for me to set Griffin up in a sleigh and run off for a quick picture (or two). He did great though with not moving :-)
Christmas Day 2008
With Carter having to work Christmas Eve this year, we had a little different Christmas Day... instead of waking up and opening presents in our pajamas, we woke up and got ready for church. When we came home we decided to open presents before Griffin's nap time. All those visits with Santa this month must have really paid off, because Griffin ended up with PLENTY of toys for Christmas!!
Christmas at Nana and Papa's House
On Saturday after Christmas, we headed down to The Woodlands to see Nana and Papa and Uncle Chris. We had hoped to make a trip of seeing all the grandparents while Daddy had some time off, but Uncle Ty Ty was sick and we couldn't get our little man sick for his second Christma in a row- so we are working on Plan B to see Sko, Papa C and Uncle Ty Ty soon to celebrate Christmas together--
"Is it time to open presents yet?"
Helping sort the bows afterwards- Griffin is so organized already- I LOVE IT!!!
