Three Months Old (A Quarter of a Year!)

We can hardly believe that a quarter of a year has come and gone and our Sweet Baby Griffin is 3 months old! He fills our lives with so much joy each day! He just amazes us with something new all of the time! He is smiling constantly these days, he loves to talk (his coos are just so sweet), he loves his hands and will play with them all the time and every once in a while stick his fist in his mouth (always the left one)! Griffin has also learned how to hold his rattle and shake it (doesn't quite understand that 'he' is creating that noise yet, but he gets a great grip on it). Griffin also has gotten into a great routine this month. He is a night owl and loves to go down to bed between 10 and 11 at night (which works out good since Daddy gets home later, so he can still play with him)--- but he sleeps until around 3 am and doesn't get up again until Daddy wakes up around 7 am. He has started to take naps in his big boy crib in his beautiful nursery. Putting him down for his naps is one of my favorite times right now. He is so sweet. It takes a lot of patience, going back and forth to re-insert the paci, make sure his blanket is snuggled around him, etc. But the way he just smiles at me when I come in melts my heart. I tell him that we will play again soon, but it is time for a nap now. He just gives the sweetest '"I love you" look' every time you look at him now.
