Today we went over to The Donnell's House for a Memorial Day Family BBQ. It was so much fun spending time with some of our best friends, The Donnells, The Piersons and The Nicols. Griffin had so much fun playing with his two best buddies, Hudson and Avery. This was his first time sitting up with Hudson and he was just fascinated at how he could play on the same level as Hudson- playtime probably was so different for him when he was laying on the floor- this is all new and fun for him!
"Hey Hudson! What's going on? Did you see I can sit up and play now?"

Time for a swim...
...At least we thought it was time... I should not say it was hilarious, but it was... all of a sudden, both Hudson and Griffin decided they were going to have a crying contest. Out of nowhere they both would look at each other and just crying. One would stop and the other one would look at the one who stopped and start crying again. This went on back and forth for about a minute. So, Hudson dried off and went down for a nap.
And Griffin decided he wanted the pool all to himself... Doesn't he look like "Hey I am Mr. Tough Guy" in this picture?! This expression on his face cracks me up!!!
Then Griffin's 'girl'friend, Avery, joined him for a little swim.
Griffin was being a very polite gentleman and gentle with Avery. It was so sweet. He would reach for her hand and face, too cute. Here she is about to grab his hat-

We had such a good time with you all coming over!! The kids are just so much fun to sit and watch...what did we used to do when we got together?? :)
