Too Too Cute in the Tulips!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day in North Texas. We had been planning for some time to take a trip to the Dallas Arboretum with Dena and Hudson and could not have picked a more perfect day! Our original goal was to pack a picnic lunch and get there around noon and take tons of pictures of the boys in the beautiful tulips. We ended up barely making it in more than one way... Dallas Bloom's last day was Friday, so many of the tulips were beginning to wilt. Also, the drive was a little bit longer than we had anticipated, so we did not get there until after 1:00 (without our picnic lunches)!!!! So we were on a mission from the moment we pulled in to the parking lot.... Hudson (8 months) Griffin (5 1/2 months) First time for the boys to ride in their strollers facing out- oh boy!!

Trying to get the two boys to sit, smile and pose for the camera was A LOT of work... we think maybe even 30 minutes worth... but we got a few decent shots of them Hudson helping Griffin stay sitting up, such a good friend already!

Mommies and their boys... we were asked as we were taking pictures if the boys were twins, brothers, etc. finally a couple stopped by and asked if we would like them to take a "family picture" "Sure!" we said! We might as well be! :-)

Many of you know, tulips have always been my favorite flower, so these are some of my newest treasured pictures of the two of us...
We ended our trip with a blow out- yes, that would be the "I may have poop on my hands" smile! Let's get to the car quickly...

After a diaper change and loading up the cars, we headed home--- almost 2 hours later, we finally reached our destination! Who knew that traffic started at 3:00 on a Friday?!!? Well, I do now!
